Before work

SDS for insulation products reviewed
- ✓
Asbestos management registry reviewed if applicable
- ✓
Pipes de-energized / out of service before work if possible
- ✓
Ventilation in place if working in confined area
- ✓
Insulation fibers wetted to limit airborne particles
- ✓
Insulation cutting with local exhaust if required
After work
3 items- ✓
Insulation waste bagged and labeled (asbestos if applicable)
- ✓
Area cleaned — no dry sweeping if fibers
- ✓
Disposable coverall disposed of if contaminated
